LTC, now with somewhere to go

Swap Litecoin into BTC, ETH, or stablecoins natively. Borrow stables against LTC without selling. Provide concentrated liquidity. Ten years of holding, finally with on-chain options — no wrapper, no bridge, no CEX.

Live on THORChain

Why this matters to LTC holders

  • LTC is the second-oldest chain and has spent a decade without native DeFi. THORChain ends that — native LTC in, native counter-asset out, no smart contract required on the Litecoin side.
  • Lower fees than routing through a CEX, especially for larger amounts. No deposit fee, no withdrawal fee, no spread tax.
  • MimbleWimble privacy on the LTC side, public settlement on the other — a combination that does not exist on any wrapped-LTC path.
  • Loans and concentrated LP for native LTC — new categories. Until Rujira shipped, LTC had no on-chain money market and no concentrated-liquidity AMM. Now it has both.

FAQ

Questions LTC holders ask

Can I swap LTC to BTC without Coinbase?

Yes. THORChain settles native LTC to native BTC on-chain. You sign one LTC send from your own wallet; the BTC lands at a Bitcoin address you specify. No CEX deposit, no withdrawal queue, no KYC.

Can I borrow stablecoins against my LTC?

Yes. Rujira Money Market accepts native LTC as collateral and extends stablecoin loans against it. Until Rujira shipped, there was no on-chain money market for Litecoin — the only path to a loan against LTC was a centralized lending desk.

Can I LP native LTC and earn fees?

Yes. Rujira AMM supports concentrated-liquidity positions on native LTC with user-picked ranges and fee tiers. Concentrated LP has been an EVM-only product for years; Rujira brings it to Litecoin for the first time.

Is my LTC wrapped at any step?

No. LTC stays on the Litecoin chain until the swap clears into a THORChain vault. The counter-asset comes out on its native chain. No WLTC, no renLTC, no bridge.

What about MimbleWimble (MWEB)?

THORChain settles to and from standard (non-MWEB) LTC addresses. If your LTC is in an MWEB address, move it to a standard LTC address before swapping. The privacy properties of MWEB apply on the LTC side; once the swap clears, you hold the counter-asset on its own chain with that chain's privacy model.
